Festival Agricultura- April 17/19 2015- Desenzano

The issues of biodiversity, sustainability and fertility will be at the earth of the fourth edition of “Desenzano Agricultura Festival”, a now traditional event that will take place from April 17 to 19. Il will propose a series of cultural events, food and wine tastings, with the intention of promoting the Garda territory , its agricultural producers and wine consortiums. In the international soil year, proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations, as well as the one of Expo 2015 in Milan, the Festival will not fail to offer insights related to organic farming and the respect of the land for the future of the planet. The event will be anticipated Thursday, April 16, from the meeting “A Tavola! The culture feeds us,” two meetings (in the library) to talk about the relationship between body and food (at 5 and 8,45 pm). Then, on Friday 17, the official start with the seed and buds market (in Piazza Malvezzi starting at 3 pm) and the Challenge of Meatball, in which the meat balls, also made with fish and vegetables, will be matched with Lugana and Valtènesi wines . Take note of the Focus on bees and honey on Sunday 19 at 3 pm at farm Montecorno Belvedere and of the organic market organized by the association La Buona Terra, also on Sunday from 10 to 19 in Piazza Malvezzi.
